I appreciate the clean conditions of the business and the friendly staff. I have had help in putting items in my unit and the comments I hear from the help is the same: This is a nice storage place. It’s very clean and no bugs, spiders or other insects.

We just signed up and based on our experience with their staff would give five stars. Angela was very helpful and easy to work with when we arrived to sign our agreement.

If you’re looking for the best, most quiet, easy to sign up, friendly place in Reno to store your things, this right here is it. Not to mention you won’t find anywhere cheaper in town. The prices are perfect and I’m so thankful to store my stuff at this facility. They have tons of security cameras and even have parking to store your boat or RV. Amber at the front desk is absolutely amazing and such a lovely friendly person to work with. She will walk you straight to your unit is incredibly informative. One of the workers on site even helped me unload some of the things big items out of my truck. So thankful for this place! Five stars! Wish I could’ve given 10!

About Space was an excellent storage solution while I was between three cities. I had a unit here for a few months while my mom had plumbing work done at her home. Once the work was complete, I removed items from storage to transfer back into the house, two days before month end on the lease, with a month paid ahead. I understood their 10 day vacation policy, so I was only expecting a partial refund; both the area manager & regional manager assured me I would receive a full refund on the month paid ahead, upon move-out. Accessible facility, nice staff, consider them for your future storage needs.

The employees were very helpful and I have found access and facilities exemplary.

This review is just for the first day and customer service. There are some things I wanted in a storage unit that this place doesn't have, but they make up for it with a wonderful and caring staff and their surveillance system. Having just had a huge storage unit in the area elsewhere, completely demolished and mostly stolen I needed a place to move whatever was left, to someplace I could trust. Shelli answered all of my questions, some to my disappointment but most to reassurance. I'm not from the area, but had planned on moving nearby, but it never happened. So most of my stuff was in Stockton. Signing up was easy and fun, and I appreciated the compassion Shelli had. And the deals are pretty good, which is why I chose this one.

They have good customer service I've been with the storage for several years now. I would recommend anyone who's looking for a good place to store their goods. It's pretty safe here for the most part.

So far my experience with advanced has been a pleasant one. Staff is professional and extremely helpful as well as courteous. Facility is very secure. And they are by far the least expensive.

Overall a nice storage company. It was a little complicated working with the call center, which covers the phone lines and does not link directly to the property mgr Alanna. Sadly, the prices/discounts from the website don't include the monthly more than $20 insurance fee, which I found out about once I was signing up for my unit, so it definitely costs a lot more than storage used to be the last time I needed it. However, as others mention, there's great customer service from Alanna and the facility is clean and in an attractive spot right off the 80 in Sparks.

Also, for my current/old storage company, I went through 3 management companies, the last two of which had no local presence. It was difficult to get a hold of anyone. It was very important to me that I get a unit that has a local office.

We have used this location for RV storage since December 2020 where we stored our first travel travel when moving to Mesquite. The trailer has since been sold and the new owner has maintained our storage space at this location. When we purchased our new RV, we were fortunate to obtain a space at this same location. We have been pleased with the pricing and customer service we have received. Recently new owners have taken over the property and so far our experience with the new staff has been very favorable. We look forward to the continued value and service from the new owners. We have other friends who use this facility and would recommended it to anyone considering it.

Shield made it very easy to rent a unit. I did it online in the course of about half an hour on a Sunday and could have arranged to move in that day, but instead chose the following day. Khriss contacted me Monday morning with a welcoming phone call and email. We met at the facility on Camage Avenue a half hour later and got the final paperwork taken care of in about 10 minutes time and she walked me through the rules and access instructions and we inspected the unit together. It was a very pleasant experience.

This place is clean. The staff are very nice. The selection of available units was good. Transferring between units was easy to do. I will always come back to them for all my storage needs.

Management and staff then went above and beyond to change our units 24 hours later per our request so we could have better access to service in the unit. The space is so clean, quiet, and well taken care of. It feels as though they care about customer service and making their customers happy, not just profit.

I've had my things in storage here for several years. I was moving my things to another place closer to my home. When I went to get my things out of Shield Storage it was full of dirt. Not dust, dirt. See photos. They said this was normal because my stuff has been undisturbed for several years. I have asthma. It wasn't good for me to be in there. Thankfully a man was nearby with a blower. I had to sit in my truck as he blew it out and I waited for the dust to settle and the gas fumes to dissipate. The people here are nice and helpful. I've never had an issue except for the dirt encounter. The pricing was comparable to other places.

I have Very limited time to access it not only because of the hours but I don't have a vehicle. And for 2 hours of every day they have meetings in the afternoon which cuts my access even more due to not having a gate code. The special price for the first 2 months is great tho. Overall decent experience, even better if they fix the gate?

I really like Sheild Storage. I have a unit in Nevada. The office crew is always cheery and helpful when I call. The unit I rented was clean and had no holes or damage to the walls. The sliding door is a normal door but easy to open. I have 24 hour access when needed. Sheild storage has good security measures but not to the point of being burdensome. I got a great monthly deal.

I moved to Shield from another storage company that had just been bought. I could've chose many other places that had great specials going on but Shield's monthly rate undercut them all. I'd much rather pay a lower rate long term with lesser of a move in special than a short term special only to have my normal rate increase by $70 after that short period. I had not been to the location yet so I was more than surprised when I arrived with my stuff to move in. First I need to speak to the ease of the rental process. I reserved online and that was great! I didn't have to pay a deposit to hold the unit when I was first shopping around. Additionally, I was able to pay the monthly rate plus the one time $25 admin fee upfront online after I made my final choice. I made it a mess myself because I am not really tech savvy and I accidentally paid twice. I didn't even realize it either. Luckily Billy at Shield on Folsom called me immediately after he caught my mistake just to make sure I wanted two spaces when in fact I did not. I thought that was pretty cool as he could have just assumed that I did want 2 and went on about everything normally.. He was able to cancel one and refund the payment back to my account. Even though I made it not so simple to do business with because of my inadvertant technical mishaps, Billy made it simple to complete the main contract with me on the phone so I could understand the steps. Now, back to the pleasant surprise when I arrived with my stuff. Tbe property is on a darker part of Folsom Blvd, but you would never know that because the property is so well lit. It is clean and kept up nicely and there are very few people who just hang out all day like at my former storage property I was moving from. I'm probably one of the few people who come on a regular basis and stay for a few hours at a time since I keep my side hustle items and shipping stuff in my storage. This facility has a requirement that we punch our code for both entry and exit to keep track of who is going in and out. I like that because if people don't belong there but tail gate in, they have to tail gate out too so the cameras (which are numerous) will catch the no-do-gooders on camera while doing so. Makes me feel more secure about my stuff. The units are both inside and outside and they even have open outside spots for things like RV's and such. I personally have a 10×15 and able to store both personal and business items after sorting and stacking just right. I'm glad I chose Shield for my new location. Not only do they undercut other storage facilities by about $50 bucks, the customer service, safety and security put the others to shame in my opinion. I recommend this facility for your storage needs!!

Called Shield Storage on Empire ahead of time to reserve a place and the property manager, Natalie, had the spot all set and the paperwork ready to execute. Natalie has always been friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed working with Michael again after getting to know him over the last couple summers. Only suggestion would be to repaint the parking slots to better see the boundaries of each parking spot.

Facility is clean, well-maintained and secure. A++ But, the real star is on site-manager Natalie. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to deal with.

I have never met the people in person but I have had my unit for 8 years, if that tells you anything. The only reason is four not a five because I still want to see people in person.

I was happy to find that when I did get there a few days after the reservation date, the unit was still available and was able to rent it with no problem. The unit I got was easy to find and I like the way you can only use the facility till 7pm so that no one is in the facility at all hours of the night. Julie was sure nice and friendly and explained everything so I wasn't confused about what I was signing and the contract I was getting into.

The storage is a pretty decent price with the online discount. Unfortunately, eveyrtime it rains or snows our property gets more and more damaged due to the unit flooding. Luckily we purchased the insurance coverage for an extra 29 a month, but that doesn't replace antiques or family memorabilia. I really wanted to leave a good review, because most of the staff was friendly and it's in a decent location... but when I went in to discuss this with the person in the office, they basically told me to call the coverage number or ask someone else.
